Résumé. – Le statut d'espèce de M. sedilloti Ch. Brisout, 1882, est restauré. Six nouvelles Meira Jacquelin du Val, 1852 (Coleoptera Curculionidae Entiminae) sont décrites des Cévennes (France méridionale): M. crassicornis coironensis n. ssp. (massif du Coiron, Ardèche), M. sedilloti chobauti n. ssp. (montagne de Saint-Geniès, Gard), M. rolandi n. sp. (région de Montpellier, Hérault), M. ronani n. sp. (région de Montpellier, Hérault), M. lavagnei lata n. ssp. (monts de l'Espinouse, Hérault) et M. lavagnei komezai n. ssp. (montagne de Nore, Tarn). Abstract. – A new species, comparatively common, Scamandra marcellae n. sp., is separated from S. sanguiflua (Stål, 1863) with which it was confounded since long. The first one occurs in the central part of Sulawesi, while the Stål species occurs only in the north part and was known by a few females specimens only. The male of S. sanguiflua is described. S. voisinae stat. nov. described from Wowoni island is updated to the status of a species, and for first time mentioned from Buton island.

Abstract. – The study of the specimens from the collection Bleuzen in the Musée des Confluences gives us the opportunity to describe 8 new species belonging to the genus Chilobia (C. bleuzeni, C. obrienae, C. boliviana, C. colasae, C. beneluzi, C. herbini, C. melinae and C. flora). The study of the generic characters of the closest genus Chilobia, Enhydria and Stalubra allows to separate them better : a general board of the morphological characters and colours is proposed and 3 species (Enhydria rufula, josianae et castilloi) are transfered to the genus Stalubra.

Abstract. – A new species of nano-leaf insect, Nanophyllium australianum Cumming, Le Tirant, and Teemsma, n. sp. (Phasmida, Phylliidae), is described from a single male specimen from Queensland, Australia. This single Australian record was originally considered as a range expansion for Nanophyllium pygmaeum Redtenbacher, 1906 (Rentz, 1988). Reexamination of this specimen as well as the intraspecies variation within other Nanophyllium specimens revealed this Australian record as morphologically distinct and geographically isolated. With this species now distinguished from N. pygmaeum and additional specimens within the genus examined, a more comprehensive key to species is included.

Abstract. – The checkered beetle genera Avena, Dolichopsis, Notostenus, and Pectobullus comprise a monophyletic group. Their species composition involve Avena coerulea (Thunberg), A. cyanella (Gorham), A. microplicata Opitz n. sp., Dolichopsis haplocnemodes Gorham, D. bicoloripes (Pic), Notostenus viridis (Thunberg), and Pectobullus auronitens (Gorham). These beetles are diurnal and frequent niches laden with sunlight. It is suggested that the wide tarsal soles in members of Notostenus and Pectobullus reflect predominant movement on smooth substrate such as broad leaved angiosperms. Moreover, it is speculated that the subrostrate head of Dolichopsis beetles relates to an anthophilous lifestyle. Their species composition involve Avena coerulea (Thunberg), A. cyanella (Gorham), A. microplicata Opitz n. sp., Dolichopsis haplocnemodes Gorham, D. bicoloripes (Pic), Notostenus viridis (Thunberg), and Pectobullus auronitens (Gorham). These beetles are diurnal and frequent niches laden with sunlight. It is suggested that the wide tarsal soles in members of Notostenus and Pectobullus reflect predominant movement on smooth substrate such as broad leaved angiosperms. Moreover, it is speculated that the subrostrate head of Dolichopsis beetles relates to an anthophilous lifestyle. The species is newly recorded from Liberia and Benin showing a significant range extension. The record from Benin is of biogeographic significance as the locality, an isolated forest, is situated in the Dahomey Gap a predominantly savannah habitat, which separates the Upper Guinean forest zone from the Lower Guinean forests. The nocturnal activity of various species of Iridana is also briefly mentioned.

Abstract. – Prompted by the discovery of an undescribed species of Phyllium Illiger, 1798 from within the Natural History Museum, London, United Kingdom collection, the Phylliidae (Leaf Insects) of Palawan, Philippines are here reviewed. The new species Phyllium (Phyllium) saltonae Cumming, Baker, Le Tirant, & Marshall n. sp. is currently only known from female and egg specimens and represents the third species of leaf insect on the island. Taxonomically this new species belongs to the siccifolium species group of Phyllium (Phyllium) as per Hennemann, et al., 2009. To conclude, a key to species of Palawan is included and all species are illustrated.
